good doctor in GTO, Leon or SMA?

I'm looking for a good doctor to check me for possible parasites -- or something else. I moved here in good health with good energy on 4/20. Two days later had bad intestinal stuff + 2 days of fever. After 3 weeks, am still fatigued all the time and it's getting pretty boring. It's not the altitude - I spent 12 days here in March and adjusted fine after about 3 days.

Any recommendations would be so appreciated. Whatever this is is putting a real damper on my adventure. Thanks.

For that type of stuff, we've always had good luck with the clinica up on La Presa. While I've never gone there, I imagine the clinic in Plaza de la Paz would be good as well. Simply stated, they've got a lot experience diagnosing and treating these problems.

Yes, go to the Centro Medico de la Presa hospital. I highly recommend that you see Dr. Gerardo Mora (the son) there. He is an excellent doctor. Call 473-102-3100 to see what time he is there. Also, he speaks fluent English. Hope you feel better soon.

Or just take a stool sample to the Chopo lab next to the Carl's Jr. next to the Bodega Aura (sp) and get them to run a lab on it, you'll get results 8-24 hours later via email, take that to a $5 pharmacy doctor and purchase the prescription s/he gives you.

I agree that Dr. Gerardo Mora is good. He helped me with the same problem when I arrived here three months ago.
