Getting to know GTO

Now that I’ll be here for a couple of months, I wonder if there is an expat live chat group. A place where I can learn best places, interesting finds, volunteer opportunities, etc. I know there is an intercambio group on Tuesday at Nigromante and I’ll be there, so some of you might also. Looking forward to meeting any and all.

No live-chat groups that I know of. But if you use Facebook, you could join the groups Guanajuato TQM! and Lovers of Guanajuato. Both are Q&A forums among the various members, and of course the information varies in reliability. Another Facebook group is Guana What, which offers news of upcoming events; it's mainly in Spanish.
