Bravos de León baseball, season 2
Yes, despite a shaky start to last season (due mostly to the new ballpark not being ready, and a change of management a month into the season), the Bravos are back this year, and the season starts with a series at home against the Guerreros de Oaxaca March 23-25. Schedule
The returning stars include: 1B Dan Johnson, who played college ball at Nebraska, and ten seasons in the Major Leagues, with the A’s, Rays, White Sox, and Cardinals. DH Eduardo Arredondo 3B Miguel Torrero, who batted .317 with 38 RBI last year, and is a very good defensive infielder New players of interest: OF Felix Pie, a Dominican Republican who has played 425 MLB games, mostly with the Orioles OF Cedric Hunter, who played 19 MLB games, most recently with the Phillies The Bravos play their home games at Estadio Domingo Santana (a.k.a. La Fortaleza), which is off of Blvd. Juan Alonso de Torres, near the mall where the Wal-Mart is. Bravos official site |

RE: Bravos de León baseball, season 2
Here's an update. The Bravos made the playoffs. Their home games in the first round, vs. Yucatán, are scheduled for the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th of June. The last of these is "if necessary". I don't have any times yet, but it's a good guess that the one on the 3rd (Sunday) will be in the afternoon.
