Went to my first Abejas game last night, and saw them win their seventh straight.
The opposing team, Lechugueros de Le?n, didn't have an answer for Steffphon Pettigrew; he threw in 31 points from everywhere on the court, and did some slick ball handling. Lots of good offensive plays, but the thing I really liked about the game was, there were very few stoppages in play. Only a few timeouts and free throws. If you watch NBA games, this is a huge contrast, and, unfortunately, college games have been running a lot longer, too. |
