The taxis outside the airport in Leon only take the vouchers you buy inside. Guanajuato taxis are not allowed to solicit customers from the airport, unless pickup is arranged in advance. The reason Leon airport taxis are expensive is that they pay airport fees.
I am not sure but I believe the taxi rates are fixed across all companies based at the airport. |
