Fiesta de la Gastronom?a

Hi Gtolisters,

We'd like to invite you to our "F?te de la gastronomie" from sept. 19 to 21st, here, in the Alliance Fran?aise de Guanajuato.

We have four events planned for these three days:

-CINE DE GULA, which is a french movie called Romantics Anonymous, and while you enjoy the movie, you can also enjoy some flavors that appear in the scene you're watching. We call it SABORAMA. I won't tell the story, let me just say that it takes place in a chocolate factory. The movie is thursday 8:15 pm, spanish subtitled, and the ticket is $25 pesos, only to recover the cost of the ingredients. If you'd like to join us, please call us to let us know.

-TALLER DE TARTA DE MANZANA, let's learn how to make a french apple pie, it's $250 including ingredients. Friday, 6 pm.

-FRENCH AND MEXICAN CUISINE CONTEST, cook a menu, small quantities, of french-mexican cuisine, you can win $1200 pesos, entry fee is $100 pesos. Saturday 3 pm. Ask us for rules and details.

-6a COMIDA COOPERATIVA, joins us for a meal and an afternoon together. We share food, cooking techniques, wine and beer. This time, due to the fiestas patrias, we're going to buy some tacos de canasta from a good place in Leon, and we'll drink some pulque. Contribution is $50 pesos, to buy the tacos and pulque. Please let us know until thursday 8 pm to place the order on friday morning.
