Leon immigration

I am going through the canje process and will be using the Leon immigration office. Can someone recommend an immigration consultant in Leon to assist me?

The SMA office is easier, but for Leon there is a long established, national facilitator just steps from INM Venecia office. CZR Consultants. Big staff, lots of work visa activity for foreign owned factories. Helped me with translations and photos. Nice people and totally professional. Prices posted on board as you enter.

Do you have a contact for these consultants? An email perhaps? I looked online but can't find them. I'm arriving on Dec 12, and I need to go there the very next day, as I only have a month, and they'll reportedly be closing for a month on Dec 15. I'm mildly panicked about this, as I am afraid I'll have to fly back to the USA or some other very inconvenient thing will be necessary if I miss this window.

One further suggestion, if working with San Miguel INM office is possible and especially with your very tight time window, consider contacting Sonia Diaz. She is a real pro, knows the INM inside/out and will offer you high priority, personal attention. Not a miracle worker but very effective and efficient.

jesm, thanks again for your help. I went to the CZR office in Leon and they were very helpful. Have now navigated the next step in the canje process. I know you recommend the San Miguel INM office but I had no problem in Leon with CZR's help. Paul

I know people who got residente in 6 days using people directly across the street from San Miguel office. They paid extra and no doubt no receipt you can't get it done in a month going the regular route

That sounds right. Now that I am registered with the Leon office it will take a few weeks to be called in for fingerprints, then I have to wait for my card to be prepared. I think normally it might be about 3 weeks but with the intervening Christmas holiday it will be more like 6. However, I was not in a hurry and chose to have the CZR consulting office simply prepare my forms for $20 rather than pay $200 for full service. For people who are OK with waiting longer and don't want to pay the higher consulting fee the Leon office seems fine so far.

Thanks, Jesm, for the contact info for CZR. I actually emailed Sonia but did not receive a reply, sadly. Plus, I don't have a car and I think it would be harder/more time consuming to have to go to SMA as opposed to Leon--I think a taxi would only be about 30 minutes from GTO to Leon, right?

Ann001 you’ll do fine in Leon INM. It’s much closer than SMA just much busier IMO. Taxi to their office more like 45 minutes. It’s also surrounded by big box retailers if you wish to shop while in area.
