Telmex - lack of presense
Some kids tied a rope around my phone line outside and used it for a Jungle Gym until it broke. Called Telmex and each day of the week I called, they gave me the following day prommising a repairman will arrive. 7 days and going, so don't expect service from them. Early on after fiber deployment, they were here the next day to resolve problems. Not any more.

We lost Telmex internet for 6 days. On day 7 after 4 calls to Telmex, TotalPlay installed fiber optic internet in 6 hours from our initial call. Upon returning the Telmex modem to the office we were told:” If you came here to tell us the problem in person, a tech would have been sent the same day. “ Too little, too late. Crazy system for a communications company.

You mean the office downtown or the one by the bus station? Which office did they tell you should have gone to? Visited the office downtown twice and also called the help line every day and no-show the entire week. Missed the entire festival this weekend waiting for them.
I would switch to Totalplay but they don't allow modem bridging without paying for a commercial account. I need bridging to access my security camera equipment remotely. |

Ten year Infinitum customer, with our share of hiccups over that time.
When help is needed we have gone to the Telmex office next to Applebee’s/ Toyota. The manager sits at a desk right out in the store with her/his name on the desk. After digesting our issue if a service tech is needed the manager will tell you when they will come to house. Fleet of techs are based at this location. So far, 3-4 incidents, the appointment was honored. Trying to call is worthless. |

Telmex by the bus station was where we were told come to the office in person to get tech service.
