Telmex Finally Upgrading Trunk Capacity
I'm sure many have noticed utility contractors laying fiber optic cable underneath the streets, over the past few days. I finally spoke with one of the installers about what they were doing - basically adding trunk capacity to "El Centro" and points beyond. He guessed the upgrade will be up-and-running in about a month.
Hopefully Prodigy service will improve sometime in September, and the sporadic outages a thing of the past, and fiber optic internet to homes becoming available in 2015. |
