Local Home and Pet Caretakers Available

Greetings Neighbours,

We have had wonderful experiences caretaking homes for other Canadian and American ex-pats and are available to commit to your needs after the 20th of December or in January, 2020.

We are seeking longer-term or annually recurring positions, but are open to short-term stays when the timing fits in with our current commitments.

As a mature, semi-retired couple in our 50's, we have over 20 years of experience managing remote lodges, luxury homes, working ranches, an Airbnb, and their employees/volunteers.

We returned in June 2018 to live in Mexico while again caretaking properties and animals. Obviously, there is a genuine need for qualified people like us and we are seeking good matches. We are in demand primarily via word-of-mouth, but the timing isn't always right, hence this outreach. If we are not available, we know of other caretakers that we may be able to refer you to.

We are currently in Fiji continuing our sustainability/education programme with the Fijian Government's Ministry of Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation, and the Ministry of Education.

We love Guanajuato, the surrounding communities, and the wonderful friends we are fortunate to know here. We plan to return to the area late December 2019/ early January 2020 when we are again available to lovingly look after your animals, garden, ranch, land, home, or rental, etc. Additionally, we have repeated experience looking after a rescue dog operation.

We especially enjoy looking after dogs and cats, as well as goats, ducks, chickens, etc. We are also skilled at restoring gardens and creating Hybrid Adobe landscaping, for example curving stairways.

People know us as Leslie and Felipe: a responsible, versatile, harmonious, professional and light-hearted caretaking couple. We've already worked together as a team for five years since we met in 2014.
