This Monday we screen “Big Night,” 1996’s delicious art-house flick about two brothers who open an Italian restaurant in 1950s New Jersey. In an era when customers demanded safe, Americanized-dishes like spaghetti and meatballs, our protagonists serve up authentic Italian cuisine, and struggle mightily to find that sweet spot where creativity and business acumen intersect.
