What is the normal time to get a resident card?
This is for a Temporary Resident Card. We applied for ours on January 4 of this year at the immigration office in Leon. They told us at the time we would be notified within 15 days to come back to immigration in order to get fingerprinted. A month later, we've heard nothing from them. The last information regarding our account, when I visit the site given to us to check our status out, states: Record data for the issue of immigration document. That was on January 13. I'm just concerned that we haven't been contacted to get our fingerprints, as of yet.
Is this normal? If so fine. Otherwise, is there something we should do, or just sit back and wait?

RE: What is the normal time to get a resident card?
I did mine in the fall in San Miguel. I was called back for fingerprints almost 3 weeks later. Then my card was ready 2 weeks after that.
Possibly a back log after the Xmas holidays so perhaps that is causing a delay. |

It might be worth a visit to INM. In our experience their 3 week estimates were always correct and once we did not get an email notification, we then showed up and all was complete.
