RE: Anybody know of a good vivero for fruit trees?
We have shopped at the Sun Antonio Vivero next to Hotel 5, it is past Silao. The trees were all healthy and in good shape but they mixed up all the citrus. So we ended up with 3 grapefruit and no orange trees and 5 sour and sweet lemon and no lime. But all the rest were what they were supposed to be.

RE: Anybody know of a good vivero for fruit trees
We have trees from 2-3 different places in Silao, including San Antonio and all have proven OK.
But our best results for citrus trees and plants in general come from Vivero Tepeyac just outside GTO on the road toward Santa Teresa. On left side as you depart GTO, if you reach Siemens plant on right side you have gone too far. Helpful and knowledgable staff, big selection, fair prices. |

Hi Jesm, Sorry for hijacking this forum with something unrelated, though it does have something to do with fruit trees--- watering them. I sent you a PM that I don't think you've seen yet, so I'm trying to get your attention here.

Sr. McNally
Appreciate the nudge as I do not ck the PM stuff and my digital skills are sorta challenged. I did do a PM reply moments ago, but am unsure if it was done correctly. If it arrives, hurrah. If not, our email, which I do use adequately, is sumacmexico@aol.com Besides my wife and kids the loves of my life are Guanajuato and pure, plentiful and affordable water. So we are happy to help you with both. |
