Christmas trees and decorations?
Other than an occasional poinsettia, I am not seeing a lot of decorations for sale. And I have not seen any trees.
What are the customs and traditions in Guanajuato? Would love to holidize my home. Any suggestions? |

Hmmmmm...... I saw Christmas trees, and other Christmas stuff, in several stores in Morelia on Sept 17, the day after el dia de la independencia.

In Guanajuato Mega or Commercial have lots of things. In Léon Home Depot, Mega and I am sure Sears. Walmart etc.

Friends found a plastic tree in Leon, but I still haven't seen any fresh trees. I guess they just don't do them here.

Mega has real trees also there is a truck selling trees coming in to town from Puentacillas.

They should be there tomorrow, there are some guys selling wood furniture and another selling metal outdoor furniture. The tree truck is usually parked near them. Last week it looked like they had Christmas trees.
