Do you have this info or can you tell me which government office can answer?

I have heard that Bodega Aurrera (Wal-Mart), Office Depot and Soriana are going to occupy the new building at the side of the Plaza Cantador. Can you confirm any of this?

Do you know of a target date for the opening?

I have also heard that the planned 4 storey building has been cut back to 3. Do you know any more?

IMHO, it's hard to argue that the site has historical significance when it was previously a Ford dealership.

I have been here close to 20 years and that location has always been called el Ford viejo so we are almost talking antique [autos] -and since the 'new' Ford on the auto strip was the first entrant it, having found itself looking stodgy in face of the competition, is now undergoing a face lift to become the new-new Ford .
