The Body Phantastique: Anatomy & Physiology from the point of view of Soul & Spirit
Lecture//Presentation by Dr. Robert Stewart, RS Hom (NA) CCH From diet to diseases, the human physical body is a huge concern with people today, almost an obsession. You can't pick up a popular magazine or newspaper without pages devoted to at least its medical aspect. But the view is generally one of defective parts, or of a complicated machine that all-to-frequently tends to malfunction. Is there anything about the human physical body that justifies using the phrase in Genesis that we are "made in the image or likeness" of God? Is the seat of human conscience and destiny---that is, the heart----really merely a mechanical pump? And how do the carrots and peas and all the food that we eat become, through the magical process of nutrition, the physical bearer of Soul and Spirit? These are only some of the questions that will be addressed in this lively and provocative presentation. Wednesday 27 February, 18:30 - 20:00 Hrs. Venue: Centro Bharati, Plaza del Baratillo #11, Col.Centro, Guanajuato (473) 734-1672 Directed at: Everyone Cost: General $60.00, Students $30.00 Seats Available: 60 Translation from English to Spanish by Maestro Sergio Marquez, Yeccan Waldorf College, Mathematics and Science RSVP centro.bharati@gmail.com Robert Stewart, R.S.Hom (NA), C.C.H., NYSH Emeritus, has practiced homeopathy and holistic medicine for nearly 30 years.
