Immigration Assistance

We used a woman named Lillia who was extremely helpful and reasonable for immigration purposes. She does not speak very much english but knows the office, the officers and the procedures very well. Although I had initially obtained my RT in La Paz without an expediter, I am glad to have had Lillia while renewing for three years in SMA. I also had to do a change of address and had to obtain two letters for travel while the card was being processed. She was very helpful with all of these.

I hear nothing but good things about Sonia Diaz and she is clearly very busy, but there are also a few others who are doing this job, at least at the INM.

Learning spanish is really important and I agree that there are good schools here in guanajuato, but for an oldie like me, it is hard and sometimes I appreciate a little help when it comes to dealing with bureaucratic offices.
