Dept Health fumigation
Today the Dept of Health came asking to fumigate my house to prevent dengue. Since I have a background in environmental toxicology, I ask what chemical they were using. He showed me the container. The brand name is Ficam, the chemical name is bendiocarb. I declined to have this used in my house. Here is some information from sources I respect to help you decide.

It causes a disease that only mosquitoes get, so the larvae do not mature. |
