We're getting some baseball action next month. The Mexican League champions, Los Tigres de Quintana Roo, are playing an exhibition here against Los Saraperos de Saltillo March 16. ("Sarape Makers"; there's a nickname that drives fear into the hearts of their opponents. :-) )

Most of the games last year were two divisions of the Municipal League, Primera Fuerza and Categoria Especial. The players in Primera Fuerza seem to be older, and there's a few of them that have had some pro experience in the Mexican League. I doubt that any of these guys get paid much more than beer money.
