It may be that the daily cap on checking account withdrawal is the amount controlled by your financial institution.
For example, you might want to withdraw $18000 pesos but the Mexican bank ATM limits you to $17000. Now continue to withdraw the $17,000. Next re-insert your bank card into the ATM and make your second ransaction for $1000. Thus you get the total amount you wanted, $18,000 (as long as the total is below your bank's daily withdrawal limit). |
