Regarding this comment of JESM's: Besides the public insurance options, SP or IMSS, we have an excellent private clinic/hospital and physicians in La Presa colonia. Office visits run around $30US without long waits or red tape hassles.

I would appreciate if someone could give more detail regarding the level of medical care that is possible to get right there in Guanajuato City? Is there an "emergency room" available around the clock, including weekends? Is there any level of inpatient hospitalization/overnight care? Do any of the La Presa doctors have medical specialties, such as cardiology, etc.? Is there an ambulance service there or way to call for emergency help?

While we love Guanajuato, a main consideration for moving there is knowing what kind of medical care is available right there in the community.
