I hope you're not pulling ours legs about that being a one-way ticket...

It is too bad your experience here in Guanajuato was not what you expected. 6 years here and we still love it. Perhaps you need a very sterile and boring environment to live in.

Fortunately Nouveau I only had to endure 15 seconds of your unpleasantries , unfortunately you live with them every day. Embrace life and cultures. Find happiness and peace from within.

Wow, I'm not sure who SoNouveau is, but if your name is Michael, I know you, and your whining, critical, complaining adios makes sense.
If you are Michael, hopefully, after traveling around and living in South American countries for 7 years you will take the time to learn Spanish and communicate with people, attend local cultural events, and not spend all your time in cafes on your laptop.
If you're not Michael, ignore the above and good riddance!

We have had a home in Ajijic Village for 7 years. I thought the OP was talking about that area in his description. We found GTO, cleaner, friendlier and much more interesting. To each his own. Buen Suerte!

What was the point of this? Attention? Good luck in your new country. Sounds like Guanajuato won't notice that you are gone.

Well, everybody ahead of me has already said it, but I would like to add that I hope you find something that suits you better wherever it is you're going. It seems pointless to bitch and moan about Guanajuato to this forum; just go somewhere else and be happy, if that's possible for you. Everywhere has its pluses and minuses. Bon voyage.

Wow. I haven't been on here in ages. I left GTO in summer 2015 temporarily so our daughter could finish high school in the States. We still have our lovely home in the city and plan to return before the end of next year.

Since I haven't been on here I have missed your posts. I'm glad. You sound like a total asshole.

On the other hand this is the most action I have seen a thread get on this forum in quite some time.
Quality trolling.
