Covid Tests at the Guadalajara Airport. Has anyone been through the Guadalajara GDL airport going to the USA and obtained the necessary Covid test at the airport itself? If so, did it go smoothly? If that service is not provided at the GDL airport, please advise. Thank you.

No first hand experience at GDL but Google shows this:

“Guadalajara International Airport is already conducting rapid covid-19 testing after several countries placed the requirement to present negative Coronavirus results in order to enter its territory.

Passengers on international flights will need to be tested antigen for those travelling to the United States, who deliver the results in 30 to 45 minutes and the PCR test is delivered within 36 to 48 hours for those intending to travel to Canada or the Netherlands who requested as a requirement to enter their countries proof of negative result.

To carry out the test you must contact the airline in which you intend to travel for which you intend to travel and schedule an appointment to go to a laboratory that has placed the Pacific Airport Group on the second level of the covered parking lot of Guadalajara International Airport.”

We do know that GDL is operated under contract by same group as BJX and likely uses same on site lab company. We’ve been tested twice here before flights and all went well. $45 US and 45 minutes.
The testing site at GDL is on second level of parking garage.
