Heard from someone through the grapevine that someone elsewhere was looking for me. Sorry but I'm not there on FB any longer. I've found that these social media groups make a place seem too much like home and there's good reason I ran away from home to begin with. Or maybe there's a rumor I am dead. No that hasn't happened yet but I'll go back to pretending I am. One thing I will tell you though is that the US has nothing on Mexico if you've read any of the goings on in Gringolandia recently. The USA is one seriously screwed up place, and that's even with Mussolini-wannabe out.

You can only spend so much time blocking friends of friends on Facebook until you just drop out. I’m not easily influenced by others to buy stuff. Lost that conspicuous consumer gene a long time ago and I’m not going to start going down rabbit holes on conspiracy theories....

If you really want to go crazy, try being "from Texas". Good thing I am a "self starter" because every last friend I ever had, I lost in the last war (wasn't declared but I'm sure you know the one I'm talking about). Even my very best buddy who claimed to be uninfluenced by politics, the last time we met for drinks and well into the evening after he had "reached his fill", he and the gal in the seat next to him started their very own mini T-Rally. It's a really strange phenomenon. Still I don't think it's good for one to dwell on it even though it's weird to have so many you were very close to all your life now look to you as "the enemy" because you oppose the beast. But that's what 30 years of brainwashing can do to a nation on the tail-end of democracy Truth of the matter is, I didn't leave the US but it left me.

Well anyway let's look on the bright side. Looks like before too long we will get the opportunity for some kind of vaccine to take effect and thus a reprieve from the latest strain to where we will be able to go out again, have a few meals, attend a few parties and then be back home in time to quarantine for the next round of who knows what else is coming .....
