Has your e-mail account been hacked recently?

Hola, I have and I expect many of you have also received some cryptic messages from 'friends' that contain only a link to some website. Anyone know what is going on? Have you had your address book hacked?

I've received such messages, too, and of course I've ignored them. What's going on is either that these people's e-mail accounts have been hacked or, more likely, that they've responded to some "phishing" e-mail and revealed personal information that should have remained confidential. Anyone observing good e-mail hygiene will almost certainly not be victimized.
