chorus in Guanajuato

To everybody who likes to sing and those who have only thought about singing: I would like to know if there are enough people interested in forming a chorus class in Guanajuato. If you are tentatively interested, please email me. The proposal is to hire a teacher and meet perhaps once a week in town. Time and place would depend on the consensus of those who want to participate. The teacher I have in mind is Ivan Montes, who is a teacher at the UG?s School of Music. I took some lessons from him several years ago, and he?s really an excellent and patient teacher (I had never sung or had singing lessons before), and he has lots of ideas for repertoire. I would hope the chorus could learn songs in both English and Spanish. (Ivan performs music in many languages). If we have enough people, the cost per person should be very reasonable.
