he looked right...
...but a rip-off. More fool I.

Earlier today and on-line i perused antique photos of GTO.

Then an hour so ago on the street waiting for a bus i was approached
by a well-attired man* of about 30-years-old selling a DVD of old
photos of GTO! (I have long-believed in the goddess of coincidence.)

His photo collection was over-priced at $100 pesos but i added the disk
to my bag of groceries and when i started to pay there was nothing
smaller than $200 pesos. The vendor said he would go get change inside
the tienda behind us. Maybe 10 minutes later he had not returned and i
looked inside the tienda--which had another door through which he had
summarily exited. So my collection was at a cost of $200 pesos.

Sink me if when i tried to play the DVD it is totally blank, nothing on it!

(Anybody need a blank DVD disk for $200 pesos?)

Learn from my experience if you see such a person downtown. --doyle
