English classes for local Mexican residents
Are there any affordable English language classes for local residents in Guanajuato? Does anyone on teach English (beginner) classes for local residents that cannot afford "Gringo" prices?

You cannot beat free.
The University offers a volunteer program CAADI where people work either 1:1 or in groups to learn new languages. It is not graded and is free. This involves native speakers that donate their time and skill to teach/help others learn different languages. An American friend participated in this for several years, a few hours weekly, working with Mexicans, not all University students, learn and improve their English. It might be worth an inquiry.
