The Honeymoon with Netflix may be over
We have used Netflix with a VPN location in TX, sometimes in Canada depending on what we wanted to watch. MX usually only has Spanish and Portuguese subtitles and my husband needs English closed captioning. And the shows are different. Well, when he went to sign in today they wanted a new sign in. They never do that unless I have run CCleaner, and then we start over. Yeah, they know we are using a VPN and they won't allow that. So I guess it will be Good Bye Netflix. I can get it all and more on Kodi tho it's harder to operate, not so intuitive.

Has anybody else had this experience? It's kind of strange because the computer that is connected to the TV is only used for Netflix or other TV shows. My computer has been used for alot and I just signed in using the VPN for TX. Please let me know if you guys are having any of these issues.

Thanks

RE: The Honeymoon with Netflix may be over
Try again after a little while. Netflix is starting to block known VPN addresses, but all your VPN has to do is change to a new number and it will work again. Most VPNs are apparently doing this regularly, so it's a bit of a cat and mouse game. Most people seem to believe that Netflix is perfectly happy to lose, as long as they are perceived to be trying, and won't be that aggressive about finding the new numbers. If they are right, what you experienced will be an occasional problem, but not that big a deal.

I use BoxPN, and Netflix is still working OK for me. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to access Hulu for a long time.

I watch Netflix without Vpn and get pretty much everything I could want. There are usually Spanish subtitles, but I find that a plus.

Saw four of the Oscar nominated documentaries.

Can't really blame Netflix for cutting off vpn accounts. It puts them at risk.

On my TV, I access Netflix through my Apple TV device (the old one) and haven't even figured out how I could enter a vpn. I can get a lot of PBS programs through apple TV, but not all. Haven't quite figured that out. Some other programs I cast to my TV from my macbook air with a vpn on. So far, can get most programs I'm interested in.
