Thanks for the news, but for those of us don't have U.S. dollars and/or who are working here and living only on what we earn in pesos, this is nothing to celebrate!
Even worse news for university employees: our union just settled with the Universidad de Guanajuato for a 3.5% pay raise, which doesn't even match last year's inflation, which at times was more than 4%. This has been the norm for the past 10-15 years, so we've never really had a pay raise! It sucks.
