Dia de Muertos
Built my altar today honoring my ancestors, deceased family & friends especially all who have a Mexico connection.
This is my most favorite holiday taking this time for those we love & respect who have gone on. Oakland's Fruitvale Latin community has a most special fete on Sunday November 2. Normally a hundred or so Altars, entertainment, great foods, arts & crafts at this alcohol free event. Upwards of 50,000 people attend. Next best thing to being in Mexico! Where ever you are please enjoy & laugh at death. |
