Intro to Belly Dance (with safe and proper technique!)

Hello Community,

I'm offering a couple of Intro to Belly Dance workshops at a very affordable price over the next 2 Saturdays in case you or anyone you know is interested.

My classes/workshops are based on the Suhaila Salimpour format, world-renowned for its focus on technique, muscular break-down (vs "moves/steps"), and safety. It includes a full yoga/pilates-based warmup. Individual modifications will be provided for your specific needs. I am currently Level 4 certified in this format and trained one-on-one with Suhaila herself for several years.

This is a great low-risk way to try out belly dance. Should you be interested in continuing, we offer twice a week classes, and Suhaila offers online classes that you can take at your convenience.

I'd like to comment on Nadia Academy.

I took a salsa class last Sunday at Nadia's studio; it was amazing! I have always wanted to take dancing lessons as an adult. I studied ballet on a military base as a primary school student.

The Nadia Academyfacility is very nice, clean, well stocked. Antonio and Nadaia are totally welcoming and highly qualified. I have been so inspired as to practice twice a day! As a mature student, I can say that exercise in a state of joy has never been a part of my life.

BTW. My husband, Don, worked his way through college as a dance teacher. He watched the entire time I was taking my class. Don came away totally impressed with their expertise as dancers, mastering of teaching dance, and grasp of the English language.
