Multi-cultural/Multi-spiritual Women?s Empowerment Workshop Feb. 1st
The Divine Feminine exists in many cultures and faiths. Although the first Shaman healers and spiritual leaders were women, much of that matriarchal tradition has been lost to patriarchal doctrines. If gaining control of your personal feminine power has value to you, consider joining us for a workshop on Saturday, February 1 ? St. Brigid?s Day, southeast of the City of Guanajuato from noon to 4pm. We have created a safe indoor space and outdoor stone circle for those females of any religious or spiritual belief systems ? English or Spanish speaking.
Bridget/Brigid is an Irish/Celtic Goddess of healing, poetry, and arts/crafts. Dr. Jacquie Mackenzie has been teaching Divine Feminine classes as a Shaman mentor since 1991. Jacquie was raised Lutheran and became Unitarian Universalist at age 16. Her study of Buddhism and Hinduism began in her late 20?s. Aspects of all of those combine with her Shamanistic ordination. Her academic awards include the study of cultures, languages, and special educational needs. Workshop sliding scale donation of $100 ($7USD) - $200 ($14USD) pesos is requested, but not mandatory, to cover actual costs of transportation from/to Glorita Santa Fe, distributed materials, and food eaten during the workshop. If interested, please email jzm@email.arizona.edu with an intension to attend or any questions. |
