Carl Haskett

I have the sad task of letting you know that Carl Haskett passed away late Sunday night of complications following surgery. His son Steven was with him; Steven's family will arrive tomorrow.

There will be a memorial at the house on Callej?n Barranca sometime early in the New Year, after Carl's two daughters arrive in Guanajuato.

We all fondly remember the small man with the white hat and the white dog (Millie) who strolled the Centro every day, meeting and greeting Mexican and foreigner alike. He so loved Guanajuato!

He will be deeply missed. Fortunately, we have memories of his delightful humor to live in each of us always.

My most sincere condolences to Carl's family for their loss. It is OUR loss too.. We will all miss you Carl, especially your endearing friends at Jard?n Uni?n where you and Millie spend time visiting with them.
