RE: halloween
Hi Heidi - we were all ready for it tonight and had a sign up saying "Tonight Only" [as Mexican Trick or Treat can go on for 3 nights].
Picked up the twins at the babysitter's at 5pm and she says its tomorrow 1 November. Prior to Walmart coming to Mexico I can't recall Halloween happening. Same goes for Xmas which was pretty low key, Reyes being the gift giving day in January |

RE: Halloween
31 OCT we had about 6 rings at the doorbell - maybe 10-15 kids in total.
01 NOV more than 75 kids between peak hours of 8-9 pm. I ask with each group, "cuantos son?" and then count out the bags. Only got tricked by 2 adults this year -sad when you have to say, "solo ninos" |

RE: halloween
Actually I don't see what the big deal is.
I give to kids AND adults, on Oct 31st, Nov 1st, and Nov 2nd (if any) I had 67 kids the first night. 23 the second night, and none on the 3rd night. Total cost: 6 bucks No Big Deal.....No Signs, No Rules, Everybody Welcome, No Pranksters, Same Every Year (more or less...for 10 years) |
