We avoid Uber due to corporate business practices and safety issue.
There are official,regulated taxis at the curb. We use them frequently, never a problem. The drivers are generally veteran cabbies with years of experience here and highly knowledgeable.
As you leave the baggage claim and customs area and first enter the terminal on your immediate left is counter with large Taxi sign. You say your destination then pay there cash or card. 520 p to GTO last month. You are handed a ticket, you walk directly to main exit doors (can’t be missed) hand the tix to a dispatcher standing in front of doors with clipboard. He then walks you about 15 meters to your curbside taxi. ¡Adelante!
