RE: Mining trucks
Great panther has a lease here that is close to our or maybe even borders on it, I have had a quick look at their website and it looks like they have 2 operating mines close by - guanajuato mine and san ignacio, but from the numbers I can see it looks like they are producing less about 773tpd and 370tpd respectively and all of their san ignacio ore is trucked.
Most mining stock should have taken a hit with the lower mineral prices around at the moment. They seem to have a decent amount of drilled stocks but without looking at the actual drillholes I can't way whether I think they would be profitable and I would never personally trust the geologists interpretation of them. They are also spread quite far out which makes it look like they have lots but actually means it costs more and takes longer to get to. They also advertise somewhere that they have kilometres of underground development which is also not necessarily a good thing because often they are small and you have to remine them to enter or the good stuff has been taken out and you have to figure out how to get the rest of it.
It looks like they are a very similar company to endeavor, especially the mines here where we are mining lots of remnant stopes (the name we use for where the mineral is) while looking for newer easier stuff to mine. We both mine fairly narrow stopes (less then 1m) but both have reserves with slightly larger stuff so it depends on how they decide to mine it. I would assume that now is more the time to buy mining stocks while the mineral prices are quite low but many companies are making lots of workers redundant and closing around the world so you have to chance that bit.
Feel free to ask any questions, it's not an area that many people ever get to know about, I will try and get some of my underground photos to share too :)
