You can make free 800 calls to U.S. call centers in Bangalore with a subscription to Skype-Out and the latest Skype clients for PC or Mac. The clients have a virtual touch-tone dialpad, which is necessary to navigate through these infernal voice-response systems, which will then put you on hold for 20 minutes before you can actually speak to a customer service representative - another reason you need a subscription to Skype-Out or other VOIP provider which will recognize dial tones.
