I would like to see reliable sources of information cited when anyone writes about Ruth's lamentable death. All too many uncorroborated rumors and inconsistencies are going around, including in at least one newspaper.

After several experiences (one not in Mexico) and hearing of someone else's, I too advocate the "don't resist" approach even though it may go against the grain.
