old style Mexican furniture
I need furniture for the house I rented - a desk, a sideboard for the dining room, plates, etc. I want traditional Mexican furniture. I think they are called muebles colonial or rusticos, the handmade stuff.
I know Dolores Hidalgo is known for the tiles, but are the dinnerware from there safe? I'm concerned about lead. Are there any stores in town you recommend that are not outrageously priced? Are there towns/villages closeby that are known for their furniture making, where I can have them made? |
