Thanks for the replies. I can check out the Guanajuato SP office. I would like to know if it is possible to renew there with a SMA address. According the SP federal government website, to renew, all that is needed is a main ID, like drivers license, or resident permanente and CURP, and proof of address, like a water bill, and also the receipt from the previous enrollment. But if the address is in another city, I'm wondering if they will allow that? I took all those things to the SMA SP office, next to the hospital, and they didn't even look at them, just told me I had to be a Mexican citizen to join/renew.
