That’s a worthwhile suggestion, but likely local government will have trouble with actions that put more vehicles on the already congested streets. More vehicle free streets make sense to me.
Campeche has made great strides and gained huge amounts of quiet and clean public space for cafes, art, and peaceful strolling by closing many Centro streets. It’s one big fair, block by block. I would love such here.
