Allow me to offer you my strong recommendation for Rafael Morales Campos. You can find him on Facebook. We have known Rafa and his family for many years and have hired Rafa and both his sons for numerous trips and rides all around the GTO and Leon areas. He has studied English at UG and while not fluent can communicate well enough. He carries the highest certification for tour guides both from local and Federal governments. He has been a taxi driver here for almost thirty years. In recent years he and his son have acquired their own nearly new 12 passenger van and does tourist runs to SMA and others. He is honest, dependable and in my opinion would be the perfect guy and vehicle to get you from the border down here with your pets and possessions.
