Surprise: Books don't have IVA (16% Mexican Sales Tax) no matter where you buy them, not just from a "non-profit" bookstore. That's one of the beauties of living in M?xico. And books from Canada and the U.S. don't even have any duty charged, one of the few good things about NAFTA.

Note: Books by international shipping from Amazon.com DO have duty charged, as Amazon's normal method of international shipping places only a return address in Germany on the exterior of the package, and Germany is obviously NOT a member of NAFTA. Just a "heads-up".

This is a non-profit, labor of love. But don't try to send me $ by PayPal, just come down and buy a book. No tax deduction available, but I'm such a small business that you don't have to pay IVA either. Another benefit if you care about MX - I'm registered with the taxing authority and actually pay taxes to Gto. Nothing under the table.
