Anyone have a favorite barber in GTO?

Do any GTO barbers do shaves? Sometimes a fellow needs a little pampering and a good hot shave can be mighty fine.

Try the barber shop that everyone knows as Los Gallos, though I don't think there's a sign out front. Facing the Banamex at Plaza Los Angeles, Los Gallos is just to the left. It's a little hard to see, as the entrance is crowded with vitrines displaying pajaritos, a type of silver jewelry that is popular here; the barbers are toward the rear of the establishment. It's a real old-fashioned barber shop (no "hairdressers" here), so they might even do shaves. Can't hurt to ask.

Thanks, Don. I ran into an expat neighbor here and he also recommended Los Gallos. I gave them a try, the barber did a perfectly adequate job on the haircut. He broke out brush and lather and a blade and shaved the back of my neck. But the lather was barely warm, almost cold. I decided not to ask for a full-on shave. Perhaps I am spoiled. I must say that paying USD 2.50 for a haircut is nice, it's a tenth of what I pay in my hometown. They also have double-edged blades for sale, a 10-pack for Mex$ 25. In case anyone else also uses a safety razor and is looking for blades.
