Friends of mine rented a house here last fall, and now they want to explore more of Mexico and spend six months in Merida starting in November. If you have any contacts there for long-term rentals and language schools there, please let me know. Their message is copied below. Thanks!

We’re looking for someone who can help us find a place similar to your house in Guanajuato, but at a lower cost than Airbnb or Home Away, given that it’s a long-term rental. Thomas speaks Spanish, so we can work with someone local.
We want to rent a furnished place in one of the better districts that does not require a car. We’ll be attending language classes at a local school -- if you can recommend a language school, that would be helpful too.
