Places to go? Cafes?
Hi, I just arrived here in Guanajuato City near La Pipila. I'm on a tight budget but I'm also a coffee lover and I'm really into hanging out in cafes. What are the good ones here? Any recommendations?

Look up Cafe Tal on Sangre de Cristo. Very popular.

I believe there is a quiet coffee shop inside the Don Quixote museum. Cafe Tal also has a second location farther up toward Presa de Olla, that has rooftop seating. It is on the left side of the road.
There is also Cafecito Carcamanes which is near Plaza Baritillo. I would guess that there are a few others. |

The expresso machine disappeared when that happened, but they have since acquired another one. They added a mezcal bar in the back. I crossed paths with the owner yesterday at the wine festival, and he told me that he has now added a bar with microbrews. |
