I want to have a leather bag made for myself. Does anyone have a specific recommendation either in Guanajauto or Leon? Thanks, Sam.

There is a very good leather artist in Plaza San Fernando, who has a small shop on the corner between the restaurants La Esquina and Van Gogh.

There is also a great shop up at the Pipila...it is one of the shops inside after you disembark from the funicular. I think the owners of these two shops are brothers.
