Boot (sole) repair in GTO, SMA or Leon - SLS - 05-13-2011
Does anyone know of/have a recommendation for a good boot repair shop in Guanjuato (preferably), San Miguel or Leon? I have a pair of hiking boots with a chunck out of the Vibram soles that I'd like to get repaired. Thanks, in advance, for any ideas or suggestions.

There is a repair shop near the Plaza San Rocha which is behind Plaza San Fernando. If you go to the back left of San Fernando and take that callejon to the end turn left and head downhill. The shoe repair shop is sort of a hole in the wall on the left but they know what they are doing. Some repairs can be on the spot but others may take a few days.

I've gone to that same place and they do good work on a variety of things. Don't be put off by the mess. It's really awful. Also ask the price. I once got gringoed there, but I go back.
