dogs off leash - Ann001 - 11-25-2020
Can anyone recommend a place to take dogs for off leash romping? I think there might be a place off the panoramica? I now have a car so I can load up the canines and take them somewhere other than walks through centro. All suggestions welcome! Thanks.

A place I like is Cerro de La Crucita. You can park your car on the Panoramica and climb a few steps to the "mini mirador". If you're approaching from the San Javier side, it's about half a km before the entrance to Cerro de Cuarto. You can go all the way up to the cross if you like, and beyond.
It's quite a hike to the top. When we go there, I bring water for my doggies in my backpack. But of course, you can stay further down. Before you get to steep part that goes up to the cross, there's a large open area that's pretty flat.

I know that people take their dogs to Calderones. Lots of open space.
